PADI Underwater Navigator Courses at Divers Unlimited

to enrol on a PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty Course!
The PADI Underwater Specialty Course is designed to familiarise
you with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures,
techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of underwater navigation.
The course will serve as a supervised introduction to navigation
techniques used in the underwater environment.
In a safe and fun manner, the course will introduce you to all
manner of navigation equipment and techniques that can be used in
circumstances such as reduced visibility or when night diving. The
course will help you relocate previously visited dive sites more
easily, so reducing the amount of air and no decompression time
wasted in searching for the site. You will have more dive time in
the place where you want to be!

What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver or Junior
Open Water Diver certified (or qualifying certification from another
organization)
Minimum age: 10 years old
What will I do?
During your PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you'll learn
underwater navigation dive procedures, techniques, planning, organization
and potential problems. You'll also be introduced to natural navigation,
underwater patterns, distance estimation and further your compass
navigation skills. You'll put these into practice during your three
open water dives.
How long will it take?
Minimum Open Water Training: three dives over one day
What will I need?
Nav-Pak, which includes Nav-Finder, manual, video and log insert

Your Adventures In Diving Navigation Adventure Dive may count toward
your Specialty course at instructor discretion
